Monte Horton
Electric and Acoustic Guitars
Monte Horton is a Toronto-based guitarist who has worked with numerous artists and in many styles over the last 14 years. He has performed and recorded in diverse musical endeavours from Bill Grove Trio (eclectic jazz improv) and Ron Allen's Unit Force to Buffy Sainte-Marie , Amanda Marshall and The Henrys - one of the funkiest bands on the planet. Monte has also composed for film with the soundtrack for "Sunday With the Castro Del Fuentes" and has collaborated and performed with cellist/composer Anne Bourne on the film soundtrack for "At The Lake."
Suzan Marie Johnson
Bass
Suzan Marie presently gigs with The Diviners and Blowseeds as well as freelancing with other acts in the Toronto area. She has played in several bands performing a wide range of musical styles including: The Acoustics (original pop), Jeffrey Hatcher and the Big Beat (original rock and roll), Rita Chiarelli (blues), The Tennessee Rockets (rockabilly) and K.C. Carter (country). She has also performed in several "Women's Reviews" including: The Big Jump Band with Lorraine Segato, the 1990 CKLN Women In Blues Show with Jackie Richardson and Jody Drake and on CBC 740 AM (National) Musical Friends.
Rob Greenway
Drums and Percussion
Since his professional debut on the Toronto music scene in 1982, Rob Greenway has shown himself to be a musician of surprising depth and sensitivity. His talents as a drummer, percussionist and vocalist have been highly regarded by bands and artists as diverse as he is himself. Among them: The Diviners, Sally McKay, The NeoTones, Sherry Shute, Tao Jones, Johnny MacLeod and Katherine Wheatley. He is a partner in the acoustic duo Angels for Tea with guitarist/composer Ray Montford and is currently recording a solo project under the moniker Brilliant Fish.
