         My guests this coming Thursday will be Blackie & the Rodeo=20

         They=92ll be in Montreal for a show on Wednesday November 5 at=
 Petit=20
Caf=E9 Campus and will be coming by the next morning, with their guitars, on=
=20
their way out of town.

         Blackie & the Rodeo Kings brings together three highly respected=20
musicians:  singer-songwriter Stephen Fearing, blues artist and producer=20
Colin Linden, and Junkhouse leader Tom Wilson.  They took their name from a=
=20
Willie P. Bennett song and originally came together to record 1996=92s =93Hi=
gh=20
or Hurtin=92,=94 an album of Bennett=92s songs.  Their second album, =93King=
s of=20
Love,=94 expanded their repertoire to include material by Bruce Cockburn,=20
Murray McLauchlan, Fred Eaglesmith and original material by each of the=20
three.  Their new CD, =93Bark,=94 is mostly original.

         Stephen, Colin and Tom will be joining me in-studio at about 10:00=
=20
am.  Before, and after, I=92ll have lots of other great folk-rooted or=20
folk-branched music.
