[mplpost] Cancon bricks and laurels

Well, well....I must admit, I enjoy keeping an eye on the Cancon list. It is
still a weather vane for airplay, and it has been fun watching David's name
gradually creep up the list.
However I know - as many have pointed out - this list does not represent all
airplay.
Over the past 4 years David has been featured on several radio shows which
did not make it onto the list. The fact is that not everyone posts their
playlists...
We know one host who posts his playlists sporadically, only when he has the
time.
2 weeks ago David and Dave Clarke appeared on Jim Blum's show out of Kent,
Ohio - which showed up on the Cancon list.
I must admit, I was disappointed this past week when the twelve songs David
and Dave performed live on Rich Warren's show, The Midnight Special out of
Chicago, (that I got to hear on the internet from Quebec!) - missed the list
completely.
Oh, well. as Kurt Vonnegut says..."and so it goes"
I guess that's the nature of the beast/list - still, as many have already
mentioned at least it shows that airplay is happening. And airplay is always
good.
Keep up the good work Harry! Lets hope more and more hosts will submit their
playlists.
