[mplpost] Those CanCon lists

Hang in there, Richard. More incoming.

I started to compile a list from the regular posters on Folk DJ a while back,
and though I gave up for lack of time, I've got 121 so far. Those were ones
who I thought were playing artists that I thought would be a good fit for some
of mine. Those were all American, but there are also posters from
Australia and New Zealand and one from Germany. In the US,
they are quite geographically spread out, from Hawaii to Alaska, west
coast to east coast, Minnesota to the Virgin Islands.

Folk DJ at http://www.folkradio.org/ says they have over 900 subscribers.
I know those are definitely not all radio programmers. Many are people who
track their artists, artists who are checking for airplay.

Richard Gillman of KBCS in Bellevue, WA near Seattle compiles a monthly
list. His August top 70 was based on 11963 airplays posted to Folk DJ.
In the month of August. 11,963 airplays seems to be a fairly representative
sample.

His and Harry's charts are great. And they're free. To get this from the jazz
programmers list HQ is big bucks.
