Hi All
My Grandfather, for those new to hear about his stories, was a free lance
writer with the Globe and Mail in the late '50's and to mid '60's. His
imagination, engineer's love for detail and incredible talent for
story-telling won him the hearts of many readers especially in the Toronto
area as he spoke of growing up in the late 1800's and early 1900's off
Castle Frank on Drumbsnab Road in Toronto.
Although my Grandfather went to his Gone Place in the late '60's, I treasur=
e
his stories and want them to live on forever by sharing them with you on my
website. I would love to hear your feedback on these charming historic
stories and would add them to my website.

The CHAPLAIN ... is curious the DEVIL ... answers him and iron bars vanish!
By MAUNSELL B. JACKSON

THERE came a cessation of all pain; a gentle but swift gliding back toward
youth; and then an awakening to life again--but the chaplain was in Hell.

Review of Dannyboy and Ballads
http://www.AtlanticSeabreeze.com
Atlantic Seabreeze gives this fine album a full five star rating.
This CD is comprised of an eclectic mix of music that Nonie and Eugene hav=
e
been working on over the past few months. On this release is the
heart-wrenching tribute song "The Giving". Written by Nonie and Kathleen
Crete for the people of Gander for opening there homes and hearts to the
stranded 9/11 air passengers. This song was featured Sept 11th by CBC Gande=
r
Newfoundland, and has been getting a lot of airplay throughout Newfoundland=
.

Paul Mills =20
"Whether she's singing blues or ballads, this is a voice that will knock
your socks off! Also a great guitar player and harpist, Nonie is a solid
entertainer who impresses everyone who hears her."

Eugene Rea - was born and raised in Ireland, and has toured extensively
throughout North America since the 1970's. A cousin to Ireland's 'Sands
Family' and has performed many times with Tommy Sands of 'Peter's Song' and
'Don't Call Me Early In The Morning'. Eugene's feet are firmly planted in
the traditional music of Ireland and Scotland, with strong rock influences
creeping in over the years. Eugene plays many instruments extremely well,
and aside from his obvious prowess on pyrotechnic reels and jigs, he brings
a strong flair for interesting and intricate counterpoint on guitar,
mandolin, bouzouki, and tin whistle.
"Eugene absolutely wowed the crowd at Traditions Folk Club"A show so
marvelous the audience wouldn't let him stop" / Wayne King, Acoustic
Traditions.
