Thursdays - Acoustic Blues to Chase Your Blues - at the Tranzac Club in Toronto with Brian Blain featuring Brian Gladstone

I've been a big fan of Brian Blain's for many years - I'm sure all guitar players are. Brian Blain is a legendary acoustic blues singer songwriter, truly in his own style but the influences of the old blues masters are apparent in his tunes. His weekly blues nights at the Tranzac are always spectacular, energetic, and well attended. Tomorrow night, Im honored to be his featured guest. 

The evening starts at 8:00 with a guitar jam led by Jeremy and Josie. Brian Blain's first set starts around 9:30, and I will be joining him on guitar. It should be a rather interesting session as we have not rehearsed, nor have we jammed together. I will be bringing my Gibson Acoustic for some blues picking, and will try some slide in regular tuning on my Dobro. Both Brian Blain and myself have spent many years studying acoustic blues guitar of the masters - so it should be a really exciting combination when we put the forces together. I am really looking forward to it.
