Thanks Donna, Dave and Shaleem for the info. I did manage to track down a
copy in Winnipeg and will pick it up on the way to the airport Sunday. (And,
thanks to Shaleem, I'll even have a lyric sheet to give the kids Monday
morning.)

I'd like to take a moment to give another thanks to both maplepost and Arnie
Ivsins. When Arnie posted the line-up for Barrie's concert series last
Sept., we realized we'd found the perfect solution to a problem: what to get
our dear friend for his 50th birthday. He lives between Barrie and Orillia,
and the last thing he wanted or needed was more "stuff". Through Arnie's
kind cooperation, a couple e-mails, and the help of Canada Post, we arranged
to give our friend the ideal gift: two "dates" with his wonderful wife. We
got them tickets to the performances by Grit Laskin and Mose Scarlett. Arnie
even mailed them the tickets, along with directions to the gig locations.
According to our friends, they had a wonderful time, thought both concerts
were fantastic and they're going to make sure they catch more in the future.
A great, "stuff-free" gift for our friends, support for the Concert Series,
and - since they bought CDs - a chance help musicians keep doing what they
do best.

Just wanted to publicly thank Arnie and the folks in Barrie for going above
and beyond.


Off to Norway House I go . . .
