ok melissa, let's hold hands...

1.  use email.

2.  don't send any more packages, we've already collect too many.

3.  think in terms of the structure of a tour.  do you have an anchor 
date?  if you don't, there's nothing to construct.  do you have an anchor 
date developing?  work toward the relationship between one city / presenter 
and another.  help build the bridges.

4.  think about how your tour will look before the canada council jury 
deciding the support for the december 15 deadline.  make it efficient, 
sound and logical.  one of the primary forms of competition is the 10 day 
jazz festival block that runs june 20-29.

5.  start thinking about the festival grant deadline of feb. 15 where you 
are now able to seek CC support for a *one off* concert at a new venue, not 
a new market.  the word *debut* is now being used to clarify the priority 
of this grant.

sorry in advance for the clipped tone of this email.  but it is symptomatic 
of many of us right now who have gathered up lots of info that we are now 
processing.

gotta go.  many people to speak to and an i'm out of the country on holiday 
after dec. 8....
