Hi List...

Wow, am I ever excited! The Flying Cloud Folk Club has actually decided to
have me be a headliner at their famous club in Toronto!!! Well, there was
one condition: be sure to bring some of your talented friends. They didn't
actually say that I couldn't carry the evening by myself, but...

Fortunately, I DO have many extremely talented friends! The ones who are
appearing with me on Dec. 2nd have all been working with my buddy, Paul
Mills on CD projects. Some have released albums over the last year that
Paul produced, while others are in the "thick" of it right now.

Here's the line-up:

Lorraine McDonald

The voice of the Hockley Valley, Lorraine is an accomplished
singer-songwriter who sings with passion and conviction and writes songs
about every-day life with the sort of originality that makes you go "Huh?
Never though of it THAT way!"

Nonie Crete

Whether she's singing blues or ballads, this is a voice that will knock your
socks off! Also a great guitar player and harpist, Nonie is a solid
entertainer who impresses everyone who hears her.

Trevor Mills

One of the young upstarts in the Toronto folk scene, Trevor has already
established himself as one of the most crowd-pleasing performers around. He
writes great, insightful songs and also plays a mean bass, which he will be
doing with me and most of my friends. The fact that he is Paul Mills' son
has nothing to do with the fact that I think he's a gem! Really!

Rosalee Peppard

The voice of an angel combined with passion and meaning. Rosalee brings all
of that to her wonderfully crafted songs about her Nova Scotia homeland and
to her heart-felt love ballads. She imbues her songs with a deep respect
for history and the human struggle.

Joanne Crabtree

Once a celebrated performer on the Canadian folk scene back in the sixties,
Joanne has returned to remind us what a great tradition this country can
boast. Her new CD celebrates that past and her own future as an important
performing artist on our folk scene. Great songs sung for real!

Terry Kelly

Terry is an institution on the East Coast music scene and is a celebrated
singer-songwriter there and in the rest of Canada. His inspiring song "In
My Fathers House" was one of those radio hits in the mid-nineties that
struck a chord with folk audiences too.

This is going to be a wonderful evening, and I sure hope you can join us.
It'll be like a little folk festival...an evening full of great music and
wonderful songs. We'll be doing it workshop-style with me and Trevor
accompanying all of the featured artists.

See you there!
