in May, 2001, I wrote;

I hesitated for a long time before sending this out. I was
concerned that it would be considered commercial advertising.
Then I thought, "Hey, that's a big component of this list...plugging
gigs, venues, services etc. I shouldn't feel bad about spreading the word." 
So I don't. Check out the web site of a friend of mine. He's an
amazing guitar builder who is becoming better known in the U.S.
