[mplpost] Dealing with spam/flamers/trolls

I see we have Helen Highwater back in our midst, obviously using a
phony address (as well as a phony name).
He/she is what's usually known as a troll. They piss everyone
off, they encourage heart murmers and irritability and spastic bowel
movements.
The technie people will know how to kick him/her off the list
again, and no doubt they will do so, and no doubt he/she will be back
stirring up trouble and behaving like a silly ass with another phony
e-mail address.
Folk this like are real sick. They need help, and a good
psychiatrist might be able to offer some (off-list, please). Most of
all, trolls need attention, because they have inadequate social lives
(and probably underperforming sexual organs too, for all I know).
The best way (actually, the only way) to be rid of fools like
this particular one, however, is to ignore his/her posts altogether.
	Don't mention them.
	Don't answer them.
	Don't dicuss them.
Certainly don't repeat them in other posts.
Eventually, when trolls doesn't get a response, they
disappear into the murky dark caves they normally inhabit, and go
back to eating bats and tearing the wings off small birds. They may
also find some other list, with some other people they wish to
insult, embarass, and annoy. Let's hope "Helen" finds his/her was to
hell and back....and gains sanity in the process.
And this is the last time I'm bring him/her, or this subject,
up on this list ever again.
