Hey I've unearthed that album too and it still sounds good! I like
nostalgia but sometimes worry that I've forgotten more than I"ve retained so
far in life.... I'd forgotten ....Perth County Conspiracy played a wonderful
concert at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay - must have been around 1973
or '74 cuz I was attending Nip-Rock High School at the time (James Gordon if
you're lurking cease and desist with the Flinstone jokes OK). My dad let me
have the car (actually a yellow van with a happy face on the spare tire
cover on the back) and we packed it full of teenagers and drove from Nipigon
up to the Lakehead to see them. One of my favourite high school memories -
right up there with getting in to the bar at the Nipigon Inn at age 15 (the
drinking age was 18 then Joanne) to watch a band called Red Rock Hotel or
was it Road????? featuring none other than Terry Tufts on guitar sigh.....
those were the days.....
