"Dave Van Ronk, my guitar teacher and mentor, has had to cancel all concert
performances for the rest of the year, due to the diagnosis he received on
October 23rd of colon cancer. He is scheduled for surgery Monday, November
5th,
and we of course, are all hoping for the best.

Dave has insurance to cover the surgery, but not prescriptions, and the loss
of
income is a big blow. If you would like to help get him through this
difficult time, you
