"Scrüj MacDuhk began as a "jam" back in 1995. It was rude, it was crude,
it was loud, it was raucous, but it was the most exciting and danceable
music since Queen Ida and The Bon Temps Zydeco Band hit the Main Stage
at the Winnipeg Folk Festival back in 1982".
First rate instrumentalists, they reach into celtic music, appalachian
old time string band music, the music of French Canada, the original
songs of resident writer, Jeremy Walsh and anything else that touches
their musical souls.
“One of the best bands I've ever seen!”, Steve Earle.
“Scrüj MacDuhk are like your own personal folk festival", James
Keelaghan.
