Greetings everyone,
For those who may not be coming to Vancouver for the conference and the local
activities
... or even if you are, here is a list of CBC radio and Radio Canada events
around the conference. 
Some are BC programs, some are national, and the web coverage will also be
extensive... 
so you could be virtually there, as it were.

Tuesday, 13 Feb:
"Early Edition" piece on arrival of Folk Train in Vancouver, and looking ahead
to FOLK ALLIANCE events

"Ici Vancouver" broadcast to RadioCanada network of live music recorded that
day in Studio One

Wednesday, 14 Feb:
"Ici Vancouver" broadcast to RadioCanada network of live music recorded that
day in Studio One

Thursday, 15 Feb:
"The Afternoon Show" remote broadcast from Tony's Deli on Commercial
Drive with items and four musical acts.

"Ici Vancouver" broadcast to RadioCanada network of live music recorded that
day in Studio One

Friday, 16 Feb:
"BC Almanac" show based on FOLK ALLIANCE and Tuned to The World activities
including open line hour with Global Village's Jowi Taylor as co-host

"Ici Vancouver" broadcast to RadioCanada network of show recorded that
day in Studio One

Saturday, 16 Feb:
"North By Northwest" province-wide broadcast featuring items and music
from FOLK ALLIANCE/TTTW events

"DNTO" - feature on the Folk Alliance conference - network broadcast
- either David Grierson and Gary Cristall in conversation, or a general
chat with Jowi about the event

"Global Village" network broadcast of material recorded and FOLK ALLIANCE
events - broadcast worldwide via short wave and satellite and www.

Sunday, 17 Feb:
"North By Northwest" province-wide broadcast featuring items and music
from FOLK ALLIANCE events

"Westcoast Performance" province-wide broadcast of concert material
recorded at FOLK ALLIANCE event
