>Waterloo is having a party to celebrate the grand opening of the Trans
>Canada Trail at the Manulife Financial Gathering Place at the corner of
>Caroline and Erb streets.

>Come out and cheer your local water carriers as they carry water from the
>Pacific Ocean through Waterloo en route to Ottawa, where they will be
>joined by other runners carrying water from the Arctic and Atlantic
>Oceans.

>The festivities will begin at 11:30 a.m. and will feature a musical
>performance by celebrated singer/songwriter Gregg Lawless.

>When completed, the Trans Canada Trail will be the longest multi-use
