Sam Pacetti
Sam Pacetti from St. Augustine, Florida, has achieved a dazzling command of the steel-string guitar at the ripe old age of 22. Sam learned flamenco at the knee of his Cuban grandfather, pursued classical guitar studies in his early teens, and became the protege of Travis-style master Gamble Rogers for the last year of Gamble's life.

Sam's gone to school on English guitar great Martin Simpson as well, delivering a glittering version of Simpson's arrangement of "Shawneetown" on his new release, Solitary Travel. Pacetti's playing stands out for its spiritual depth and emotional intensity. Roy Bookbinder calls him "The future of American fingerstyle guitar."

To say Sam Pacetti is destined for greatness would be an understatement. Solitary Travel heralds the arrival of a major artist in the new generation of acoustic musicians.
