Pudding is an exuberant Vancouver based band that is rapidly gaining an
international reputation as one of the finest purveyors of contemporary
and traditional Celtic music. Their turbocharged music runs the gamut from
original compositions to traditional Scots ballads to Sly and the Family
Stone covers.
There second CD, "Dirt and Stone", was released last February and is distributed in Canada by Festival Distribution and in Europe by Iona/Lismor Records. It garnered tremendous reviews such as Sing Out's Mark Moss' description as "...their genre-bending approach to tunes combines precise, clean and brilliant playing with a defined drive. Though acoustic, these folks can rock."
