Len Osland
Len Osland has played in Northern bands for twenty five years. He began writing his own material approximately twenty years ago and continues to perform some of that earlier material, like his song "Icebound", today.

His writing has evolved significantly since then but still retains its Northern perspective. In 1989 he moved to Whitehorse, Yukon and began to play in different bands. The most notable of those is Inconnu and his present band, Lenny and the Lapstrakes. Inconnu is a Roots band performing original pieces in both official languages.

Osland toured with the band in the summers of 1995 & 1996 performing at festivals across Canada. These included Winnipeg Folk Festival, Calgary Folk Festival, Guelph Hillside Festival, Mariposa Folk Festival, Islands Folk Festival in Duncan B.C., Northern Lights Festival in Sudbury and Yellowknife's Folk on the Rocks. Inconnu appeared in the Cultures Canada Program in July '96 in Ottawa. They also performed at the annual Alsek and Frostbite Music Festivals.

Inconnu's media performance highlights include C.B.C. True North Concert in 1994, C.T.V. Canada A.M. guest spots, one in June 1995 and one in July 1996.
