Dwayne Ford
Dwayne Ford is a seasoned veteran of the international music scene. After two years in the famed "Ronnie Hawkins Road School of Music" in the 1970s, Ford started his own band (Atkinson, Danko & Ford) and cut five albums for CBS. During this period he married Canadian singer/ songwriter Patsy Gallant and became the primary arranger, writer and producer for several of her albums.

In 1988 Ford moved to southern California, continuing to write and perform. There he amassed a large number of new songs; in the summer of 1996, moved back to Edmonton to begin work on this, his latest recording. Says Ford: "I loved living and working in California but Canada is home and I was deeply moved by the attitude and willingness of Canadian musicians to collaborate on this album."

Ford is currently busy with the release and promotion of this latest effort, and with raising Jason, his son. He continues to write, produce and perform.
