After blistering performances at NXNE '98 and '99, brilliantfish connected with co-producer Razor to work on a new album. With Razor just returning from London - after 11 years of engineering great walls of sound for bands like U2, Killing Joke and Clan of Xymox - they teamed up to produce the new CD, 'darwinsblackbox'.  Combining samples, grooves, eastern percussion, dark textures and edgy guitars,
RaZoR and brilliantfish have carved a new progressive sound from the angst of brilliantfish's first release "sick".
